When Susan and Todd met with me, they knew they wanted to tell their story. Susan, at the time, was working on her Ph. D. in Anthropologic studies, and had a great fascination with Aztec design, specifically details of the Aztec calendar. She sent me this image as her inspiration. It was this very design, that I recreated and used as the centerpiece of their invitations. Knowing she wanted the vibe to be overall bohemian, I added some bright ombre colors. Lastly, in tribute to Todd, we used font that looked like it was from a typewriter. Susan had told me that throughout their relationship, Todd would type her love letters and leave them here and there for her. I thought what a great touch!

The invitations were foil stamped in bronze and digitally printed to accomplish the colorful ombre.
